Dan Elkin is a PhD candidate at the University of Arkansas-Fayetteville. He received his BA and MA in history form the University of San Diego. His research interests include capitalism, conservative politics and transnational urban history. His dissertation project explores the politics of urban growth in the San Diego-Tijuana corridor in the 1970s.
